As CEO with over 28 years of health care industry experience, Dave has been leading The Wellness Network since 2010. Currently, Dave is focused on new growth initiatives, partnerships, and acquisitions with a personal and professional passion for leveraging educational media and information technologies to engage people to improve the patient experience and health outcomes.
Dave spent 21 years with GE Healthcare and NBC in operational leadership and business development roles. Dave launched the Patient Channel as a partnership between GE Healthcare and NBC in 2002, and then combined the teams, platforms and operations of the Patient Channel and the Newborn Channel as VP, Hospital Business for NBC’s Digital Health Networks in 2008. Dave helped GE divest the Wellness Network in 2010, and subsequently oversaw steady organic growth and expansion of The Wellness Network's team and customer base with new products and services.
Prior to becoming a health care executive, Dave helped launch private satellite networks, produced award-winning corporate television videos and broadcasts, worked as a commercial television producer, reporter and photojournalist for NBC and CBS television stations, and operated his own business television production business.
Dave graduated from Marquette University in 1983.
James H. (“Hal”) Higby serves as Strategic Advisor and Board member for The Wellness Network. Mr. Higby’s experience in the healthcare patient information industry spans over a decade. His roles include Group President of StayWell and Consumer Health at MediMedia USA, Inc. and an Initial member row at Centripetal Capital Partners, Inc. Mr. Higby also served as Senior Vice President of Administration and Chief Financial Officer at StayWell. Along with Mr. Pat Clifford, Mr. Higby founded Three V Health in 1997. Prior to this, he was the Executive Vice President and the Chief Operating Officer at Times Mirror Higher Education Group. Mr. Higby graduated with a BA in English from Hamilton College and received his MBA from the Wharton Graduate Division of the University of Pennsylvania.
Patrick A. (“Pat”) Clifford serves as Strategic Advisor and Board member for The Wellness Network. Mr. Clifford brings over 30 years of experience in the healthcare patient information and education industry. Most recently, he served as Chairman of the Consumer Healthcare Group of MediMedia, a leading provider of health and wellness information serving providers, the pharmaceutical industry, employers, health plans, and consumers. Mr. Clifford was previously Chairman and CEO of Three V Health, which he founded with Hal Higby and a third partner in 1997. Prior to starting Three V Health, Mr. Clifford was Senior Vice President of Times Mirror Education Group. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Staywell, and over the course of his career has served on the Board of Directors of MediMedia, the C.V. Mosby Company, Richard D. Irwin and William C. Brown. He graduated from Long Island University with a BS in Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude.
Peter Petrillo is the Managing Partner at Granite Bridge Partners.
Prior to co-founding Granite Bridge in 2018, Peter Petrillo was a Senior Managing Director at Wafra Partners. He joined Wafra Partners in 1995 and has a total of thirty-five years of private equity experience. Prior to joining Wafra Partners, Mr. Petrillo was a partner at a turnaround and strategy consulting firm and, before that, had a six-year stint in private equity during the 1980’s. Mr. Petrillo started his career in public accounting and is a CPA.
He has an MBA with distinction from New York University and a BS in Accounting from the State University of New York at Albany.
Eric Norfleet is a partner at Granite Bridge Partners.
Prior to co-founding Granite Bridge Partners in 2018, Eric Norfleet was a Managing Director at Wafra Partners. Mr. Norfleet has over thirty years of experience with middle-market companies as a private equity professional and investment banker. Prior to joining Wafra Partners, Eric was a Managing Director at Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance in New York, where he founded and led the financial sponsors group. Prior to that, he was an Assistant Vice President in the M&A group at the Bank of Tokyo and an associate in the M&A group at Samuel Montagu, both in New York. Mr. Norfleet began his career in the management training program at Midland Bank PLC, the parent company of Samuel Montagu, in New York.
He has a BS in Finance from McIntire School of Commerce, at the University of Virginia.
