Dave Ross Chief Executive Officer

As CEO with over 28 years of health care industry experience, Dave has been leading The Wellness Network since 2010. Currently, Dave is focused on new growth initiatives, partnerships, and acquisitions with a personal and professional passion for leveraging educational media and information technologies to engage people to improve the patient experience and health outcomes.

Dave spent 21 years with GE Healthcare and NBC in operational leadership and business development roles. Dave launched the Patient Channel as a partnership between GE Healthcare and NBC in 2002, and then combined the teams, platforms and operations of the Patient Channel and the Newborn Channel as VP, Hospital Business for NBC’s Digital Health Networks in 2008. Dave helped GE divest the Wellness Network in 2010, and subsequently oversaw steady organic growth and expansion of The Wellness Network's team and customer base with new products and services.

Prior to becoming a health care executive, Dave helped launch private satellite networks, produced award-winning corporate television videos and broadcasts, worked as a commercial television producer, reporter and photojournalist for NBC and CBS television stations, and operated his own business television production business.

Dave graduated from Marquette University in 1983.

Bill Boyer Digital Transformation Lead

Bill comes to The Wellness Network with over 30 years of experience in software development, enterprise architecture, and technical team leadership. Having worked in finance, e-commerce, and entertainment for the bulk of his career, he is very pleased now to be working with a team dedicated to improving health and wellness.

At TWN, Bill advises and coaches our team on all aspects of technical strategy, architecture, and the software development process.

Bill studied English, Economics, and Computer Science at the University of Maryland, College Park, and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Carrie Beaudoin Production Manager

As Production Manager, Carrie is responsible for the planning, coordination and production of patient education programming. Carrie has over 20 years of video producing and writing experience with over 10 years focused specifically on health and patient education. Managing both internal and external production, Carrie is responsible for the creation of video content that educates, empowers, and engages viewers across multiple delivery platforms and at all stages of care. Before working as a Producer in health education, Carrie freelanced in the Toronto television market and has worked for various companies including Discovery Communications, Marble Media, and the Toronto Blue Jays.

Carrie received her MA with a focus in Television, Radio, and Film from Syracuse University.

Richard Bootes President, Product Strategy and Development

As President of Product Strategy and Development, Richard is responsible for driving results through innovation and technology and oversees the Technical Development Team. His career-spanning passion for patient empowerment has led to over 20 years of experience creating industry leading education, communication, and confidence building engagement solutions. Recognized as an industry innovator, he delivered presentations on the benefits of AI in patient healthcare at the 2018 Beryl Patient Experience Conference, the 2018 Cleveland Clinic Patient Experience Summit, and the 2018 North Carolina Technology Association ‘State of Technology’ Conference.

Richard received his BS in Computer Science from Florida International University.

David Elvig, MD Chief Clinical Officer

As Chief Clinical Officer, David develops and oversees integrated patient education and EDIS health education solutions for US hospitals, including ONC-Certified products for Meaningful Use. His current responsibilities include new product development to enable LOGICARE and The Wellness Network growth. Prior to the acquisition of LOGICARE by The Wellness Network, David founded LOGICARE and served as President and CEO for 27 years.

David received his B.A. in Chemistry at St Olaf College and an MD degree and Family Practice specialty certification at the University of Minnesota.

Nancy Greenwald President, Sponsorship Sales

Nancy Greenwald joined The Wellness Network in 2016 as VP, Sponsorship Sales. Nancy is responsible for strengthening the advertising sales team and growing revenue across all of the network channels and platforms.  Prior to joining The Wellness Network, Nancy served as Vice President, Publishing Director for the American Diabetes Association. While with the ADA, Nancy was responsible for growing revenue across all communication platforms on the consumer and professional side of the association. Prior to her time at ADA, she spent more than a decade at Hearst Media overseeing the DTC advertising arena.

Andy Johnson Vice President, Operations

As Vice President of Operations, Andy oversees multiple cross-functional teams, including video deployment & distribution, software implementation & technical support, and corporate information technologies. These teams focus on supporting internal and external business needs by developing and managing efficient tools and processes that promote customer success, satisfaction and retention, along with a high level of product and software quality. Andy is actively involved in product and strategic planning, along with leadership development.

Andy has been with The Wellness Network for over 15 years and he received his B.B.A at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Jim Lyons Chief Technology Officer, Network and Broadcast Operations

As Chief Technology Officer, Jim is responsible for the Wellness Network’s Technical and Platform Support Operations. Jim’s technical career spans over 25 years in the areas of broadcast, media, and satellite & terrestrial network engineering, including technology architecture for NBC and FOX. Jim was involved with the launch of the Patient Channel (2002), integration of the Newborn Channel (2004) and the new digital signage platform for The Wellness Network (2012). Jim’s experience includes roles at COMSAT, Ascent Media, DataPath/Rockwell Collins, and Hawaii Pacific Teleport.

Meg Miller Vice President, Programming and Marketing

As Vice President of Programming & Marketing, Meg develops and executes content, marketing, and programming for The Wellness Network. She assesses customer and healthcare facility needs for education and ensures clinical accuracy of programming through the Advisory Board. Meg also maintains brand integrity and develops and implements market strategy with the sales team. Meg brings over 10 years experience in patient education and content development and over 20 years experience in marketing, communications, and strategic planning.

Meg is a graduate of the The University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Andrew Romagna President, Business Growth

As President of Business Growth, Andrew leads the Subscription Sales team, which is responsible for relationships with over 2500 hospitals. He is also responsible for the strategic marketing and subscription sales planning for the hospital business. Prior to joining The Wellness Network, Andrew spent 10 years in the healthcare industry with GE Healthcare, Medical Education Solutions Group and NBC’s Digital Health division. At GE Healthcare he worked on over 100 educational video programs for nurses, physicians, and pharmacists.

Andrew received his Masters from UW-Madison in 2001.

Stephanie Winans President, Pregnancy and Pediatrics

As President of Pregnancy and Pediatrics, Stephanie is responsible for developing the company’s maternity strategy, managing Bundoo as a growth investment, and overseeing The Wellness Network’s point of care advertising model. Prior to joining The Wellness Network through an acquisition, Stephanie was the CEO of Bundoo, a digital health startup for expecting and new moms. With an entrepreneurial background in media, healthcare and technology, she has over a decade of experience in business planning and marketing strategy.

Stephanie completed her MBA at University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School and holds a B.S. in Marketing and Psychology from Spring Hill College.
