The Wellness Network and American Lung Association Partner on Patient Education to Improve Lung Health

Pewaukee, WI – November 6, 2018 – The Wellness Network (TWN) and the American Lung Association are proud to announce a partnership to provide those living with a lung disease new pulmonary disease-focused patient education programming, and are committed to providing high quality, point-of-care content that meets nationally recognized standards.

“With nearly 26 million individuals living with asthma, 11 million with COPD and the ongoing need for effective smoking cessation programs, relatable and engaging education can be a critical tool for long-term management of lung health,” said Dave Ross, CEO of The Wellness Network. “This partnership will further expand our library of clinically accurate, actionable lung health content to support patients throughout all points of care in their condition management and prevention initiatives.”

The American Lung Association will provide expertise and support for individuals living with lung diseases like asthma, COPD and lung cancer, as well as information about influenza, pneumonia and general lung health through TWN’s online resource library for healthcare providers and their patients. Through this partnership, the two organizations will continue to explore opportunities to partner in development, delivery and promotion of resources and tools that actively engage patients in lung disease prevention and disease management.
