Board of Directors

The Board of Directors consists of strategic advisors and senior leadership from Wafra Partners LLC and The Wellness Network. Their role is to provide strategic support and direction to accelerate growth.


DAVE ROSS – Board Member, CEO of The Wellness Network

As CEO, Dave is leading The Wellness Network’s efforts to expand into providing more value-based care solutions through organic growth opportunities and acquisitions.

Prior to joining The Wellness Network, Dave spent 21 years with NBC and GE Healthcare combining educational media and technologies with business opportunities. Throughout his tenure with GE and NBC, Dave held a number of operational and business development roles, receiving invaluable leadership and product development training and opportunities.

Dave launched and managed the Patient Channel (2002) and Joint Commission Resources Quality and Safety Network (2007) at GE Healthcare, moving with his business group to NBC Digital Health in 2008. There, he combined the teams, platforms and operations of the Patient Channel and the Newborn Channel as VP, Hospital Business for NBC’s Digital Health Networks.

Dave produced numerous award-winning corporate television programs and worked as a commercial television producer, reporter and photojournalist for NBC and CBS television stations and launched and operated his own business television production business.

Dave received his B.A. in Broadcast Communication from Marquette University in 1983.

James (Hal) Higby – Strategic Advisor, Board Member

James H. (“Hal”) Higby serves as Strategic Advisor and Board member row for The Wellness Network. Mr. Higby’s experience in the healthcare patient information industry spans over a decade. His roles include Group President of StayWell and Consumer Health at MediMedia USA, Inc. and an Initial member row at Centripetal Capital Partners, Inc. Mr. Higby also served as Senior Vice President of Administration and Chief Financial Officer at StayWell. Along with Mr. Pat Clifford, Mr. Higby founded Three V Health in 1997. Prior to this, he was the Executive Vice President and the Chief Operating Officer at Times Mirror Higher Education Group. Mr. Higby graduated with a BA in English from Hamilton College and received his MBA from the Wharton Graduate Division of the University of Pennsylvania.


Patrick Clifford – Strategic Advisor, Board Member

Patrick A. (“Pat”) Clifford serves as Strategic Advisor and Board member row for The Wellness Network. Mr. Clifford brings over 30 years of experience in the healthcare patient information and education industry. Most recently, he served as Chairman of the Consumer Healthcare Group of MediMedia, a leading provider of health and wellness information serving providers, the pharmaceutical industry, employers, health plans, and consumers. Mr. Clifford was previously Chairman and CEO of Three V Health, which he founded with Hal Higby and a third partner in 1997. Prior to starting Three V Health, Mr. Clifford was Senior Vice President of Times Mirror Education Group. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Staywell, and over the course of his career has served on the Board of Directors of MediMedia, the C.V. Mosby Company, Richard D. Irwin and William C. Brown. He graduated from Long Island University with a BS in Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude.

Eric Norfleet – Board Member

Eric Norfleet is a Managing Director at Wafra Partners LLC, and also serves as a Senior Vice President of Wafra Investment Advisory Group, Inc., an affiliate of Wafra Partners. Mr. Norfleet has over twenty-six years of experience with middle-market companies as a private equity professional and investment banker. Prior to joining Wafra Partners, Mr. Norfleet was a Managing Director at Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance in New York, where he founded and led the financial sponsors group. Prior to that, he was an Assistant Vice President in the M&A group at the Bank of Tokyo and an associate in the M&A group at Samuel Montagu, both in New York. Mr. Norfleet began his career in the management training program at Midland Bank PLC, the parent company of Samuel Montagu, in New York. He has a BS in Finance from McIntire School of Commerce, at the University of Virginia.
